great base for exploring the city's best parks and landmarks

my stay was fantastic, enjoying easy walks to the beautiful Luneta Park and the interesting Battle of Surigao Strait Museum, which made each day of exploring feel effortless and rewarding.

The spacious room was very comfortable and well-maintained, allowing for a relaxing stay after a day of exploring.

However, the noise from the hallway was quite disruptive, especially during the early mornings with staff members being quite loud.

Incredible location just across from the main hotel, making it easy to access the port and restaurants. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a solid WiFi connection, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Hot water in the shower had great pressure, very refreshing. However, there were a few noisy guests outside that made it hard to relax at times. The air conditioner made some clanking noises, which was a little disruptive. Overall, a pleasant stay at a really good price.

My stay at Annex Hotel Tavern was very enjoyable. The conveniently located hotel is a short distance from the pier leading to Siargao. The modern room, equipped with all necessary amenities, featured a functional bathroom with a reliable hot and cold shower, making for a pleasant experience. Additionally, I appreciated the availability of parking at the rear, which allowed me to leave my vehicle safely for two days at an affordable price of 100 pesos per day.

The check-in process was slightly confusing.

Why the outdated policies? The heavy-handed security rules made me feel watched!!! Not to mention the uncomfortable bedsheets, which felt itchy and unwashed!!! Also, the tiny toiletries left me frustrated, as there were no refills!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The central location made exploring the city with my family and three dogs super easy. Comfortable beds helped us all rest well, and the kids loved the great WiFi for their devices.

The location is great, just a short walk to the boulevard , we enjoyed taking evening strolls. Also the shower had plenty of water pressure, just what I needed after a long day.
